About this recompilation

Projeto Belmante's static recompilation of the original Nintendo Switch Super Mario Bros. Wonder 1.0.0. Converts the player's own AArch64 game code to C++ with a native runtime and NVN-to-Vulkan graphics; generated game code and data remain private.

Platform support & installation

macOS

Build required

Native static recompilation; Vulkan through MoltenVK

Requirements

Own legally dumped Super Mario Bros. Wonder 1.0.0 base-game data (Switch title 010015100B514000), own keys and required firmware; locally generate game C++ and translate shaders. No game data, generated game code or distributable game build supplied. Xcode command-line tools, CMake, Ninja, SDL3, MoltenVK, Vulkan headers/loader and Python build environment.

Sources

Reference platform in maintainer documentation, but no verified complete-playthrough guarantee. Windowed frame-rate drops and unresolved rendering checks remain; Intel Mac support is not documented.

No game data, generated game code or distributable game build supplied. Windows 10/11, Vulkan 1.3 GPU, Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools with Clang, CMake 3.28+, Ninja, Python 3.11+, Vulkan SDK 1.4.357+ and .NET SDK 10.

Sources

Maintainer reports RTX 3050 and Intel GPU tests. Crash after character selection remains documented; current Windows build-guide steps were not rerun for that guide. No broad hardware or full-playthrough assurance.

Native static recompilation; Vulkan

Requirements

Own legally dumped Super Mario Bros. Wonder 1.0.0 base-game data (Switch title 010015100B514000), own keys and required firmware; locally generate game C++ and translate shaders. No game data, generated game code or distributable game build supplied. Vulkan 1.3 GPU, clang, CMake 3.25+, Ninja, SDL3 3.2.x, Vulkan-Headers 1.4.357+, .NET SDK 10 and Python 3.11+ environment.

Sources

Documented since 2026-10-17 with Ubuntu 26.04 and RTX 3050/Intel UHD tests. Measured scene-specific performance is not whole-game validation. Documented SDL3 build uses XWayland; ultrawide HUD and rendering checks remain.

Android

Build required

Native static recompilation; Vulkan

Requirements

Own legally dumped Super Mario Bros. Wonder 1.0.0 base-game data (Switch title 010015100B514000), own keys and required firmware; locally generate game C++ and translate shaders. No game data, generated game code or distributable game build supplied. Vulkan 1.3 driver; build privately on Linux/macOS using Android SDK, NDK 28.2 and JDK 21, then supply the locally built APK and game data.

Sources

Galaxy S23 reports are device/scene-specific. Memory swapping, rendering glitches and performance drops remain; pipelining previously caused broken geometry. Some newer pipeline changes have not run on a phone. Launcher-only APK cannot play. APKs containing generated code are for private use; replacing differently signed builds can delete imported app data.
