Cookies and submissions

We use essential cookies and limited network information to operate the site and reduce abuse. These cookies last up to 180 days.

Approved requests are public. Pending submissions, correction text and review notes are private. Keep your submission receipt link private: anyone with the full link can view your submission and its review outcome.

Hosting and service providers

Cloudflare hosts and protects Portkoi and processes connection and device information, including IP addresses. We use Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when loading fonts. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Usage measurements

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and aggregate usage counts to understand site traffic and improve Portkoi. Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or identify visitors across visits.

Portkoi does not use advertising profiles or device fingerprinting.

Retention

Rejected submission text is removed after 30 days. Private receipts are deleted 90 days after resolution. Aggregate interaction counts are kept for three months; Web Analytics reports are available for six months. Active votes and published requests remain while the content is in use.

Short-term security and retry records are kept for up to 48 hours. Internal change history is retained for up to one year. Service logs and backups follow the providers’ retention settings.
