About this recompilation

Game-specific static recompilation of Pokémon SoulSilver US for single-screen devices. Generates ARM9 C++ locally from an owned ROM and combines it with melonDS instruction handlers, DS hardware emulation, and a custom widescreen frontend.

Static ARM9-to-C++ recompilation; melonDS handlers and DS hardware/ARM7 emulation

Requirements

64-bit ARM Android 7.0 or later and own SoulSilver US ROM. Build the signed APK on a Linux/Windows PC using the setup program; it downloads Android NDK and SDL2. No ready-made APK is distributed.

Sources

Maintainer tested Android 14 emulator installation, saves and touch controls, not a real phone or handheld. Built APK contains the user's game code and must not be shared. Device performance and full-game completion are unverified; setup version is prerelease.
