About this port

SMCraft is aksmith-git's from-scratch engine for Super Mario Maker 2 courses, with optional Super Mario Maker features including 100 Mario Challenge and costumes. Includes course tools and a self-hostable course server. Original artwork and sounds require data extracted from the owner's games; placeholder visuals are available. The separate recompilation component is a plan, not a working build.

From-scratch engine reimplementation

Requirements

iOS/iPadOS17+; source-build and signing workflow, game assets prepared on Mac. Own Super Mario Maker2 RomFS/ExeFS (v3.0.3 recommended); optional own WiiU Super Mario Maker dump for extras. Course keys derive from imported game data. No Nintendo game files supplied.

No published release package verified. Visual fidelity for NSMBU/3DWorld, effects/audio detail, Story Mode screens and full maker interface remain in progress.
