About this port

NicoRuedaA's reverse-engineering workspace and partial Rust/Bevy port of Pokémon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch. Uses locally extracted base-game and v1.1.1 update data with a sheet-driven game implementation and interactive viewer. No game assets or console keys are included.

Linux support and installation

Linux

Build required

Partial native Rust/Bevy reimplementation with locally extracted original game data

Requirements

Own exact supported NSZ base v0 and v1.1.1/v262144 update dumps, plus prod.keys from the user's own console, processed locally. Installer checks pinned hashes and rejects other revisions/NSP/XCI. Linux build prerequisites: Rust 1.98+, Python 3.10+ (3.13 recommended), uv or a configured extraction venv, ALSA/udev headers and optional-audio libopus. About 21 GB for the documented full install; install.sh prepares data/caches and play.sh launches the viewer.

Sources

Partial implementation: README says visual, save and system bindings remain very incomplete; behavioral parity and complete-game playthrough are unverified. No release binaries. Installer was tested on one maintainer setup, not another person's machine; its report says the viewer was not opened from the fresh installer result. Source includes heuristic/assumed behavior. The qualitative 45% estimate and extraction/documentation counts are not gameplay evidence. No Windows/macOS/mobile targets established.
