About this port

MatyMeatBoy and ReKHCoM contributors' Windows, browser, Android and Linux port of the original Game Boy Advance Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, based on Pheenoh/khcom. Uses the player's own supported cartridge dump. Linux/Steam Deck builds are nightly prereleases; Android, Web and ARM handheld packages retain alpha caveats. This is not the PlayStation 2 remake.

Platform support & installation

PC

Native decompilation-based port

Requirements

Own supported European (B8CP), US (B8CE) or Japanese (B8CJ) Game Boy Advance cartridge dump, verified by the launcher. Extract the Windows ZIP into a writable folder and install the dump. SDL3 is included. No ROM is provided.

Sources

Neither Sora’s story nor Reverse/Rebirth has a verified full playthrough. HD text can overlap Deck View; event/ending movie transitions and some rendering, audio streaming and widescreen scenes remain unverified. Save states require the exact originating build. Stable v1.9.2 has no Linux package; Linux/Steam Deck packages are separate nightly prereleases. No macOS build documented.
